OI YOU!

 We've had lots of tweeting going on here recently thanks to a late spring and now all the little birdies are enjoying the flowers on the flax and trees. It's really nice to hear.

Various local conservation projects have seen the return of kaka and pōpokotea whiteheads which add to the chorus.

Grey-faced petrels (Pterodroma gouldi) also known as Oi have been successfully bred on one of the reserves.

No, it's not Richard of Richard's Bass Bag about to go into town although people do refer to him as 'Oi you'.
